Essential Anatomy and Physiology Essential Anatomy & Physiology comprehensively covers all the body systems. Originally released in 2002, this highly popular and successful product has already assisted thousands of students in their studies. It was re-published in September 2006 to include further topics such as the origins, insertions and actions of the main muscles, and it has also received a face lift. It now includes approximately 650 questions for self-testing, an extensive glossary, and comes with two additional files - one that contains all the body system summaries (for that last minute panic revision!) and the other contains a pack of 49 unlabelled anatomical graphics. The content of this CD ROM is also available as a part of our Online Plus package. Even if it is the CD ROM version that you require, do take a quick look now at the online demonstration available here. Although the presentation speed will be affected by your internet connection (not so with the CD ROM), the tutorial is identical. The demonstration allows you to take a topic from each body system, list all the topics that are included, and get a good feel for the product.
Minimum System Requirements: 32MB RAM, Windows 95/98/2000/ME/NT/XP/VISTA, CD ROM, mouse. MAC Compatible. A black and white manual alternative is available containing the same information as the CD ROM. See Format Information below.
The CD ROM auto-runs and is simple use. No previous computer experience is required. It includes a detailed explanation of how to use every aspect of its functionality to ensure that the package can always be used to its maximum potential. The text is well written and the information is easy to navigate. Numerous questions provide opportunities for self-testing, with the feedback to each question providing valuable reinforcement of the teaching point. The CD includes an interactive list of contents and a full glossary that is accessible from each page. All the information is literally a mouse-click away! The black and white Study Manual presents the wealth of information in a bound book. The text is clear and well set out. The Study Manual includes the questions and provides plenty of 'white space' for additional notes to be added if necessary.
